LHS CLASS OF ’75 50th REUNION WEEKEND PLANS:
Friday October 10, 2025
These plans are still in flux. Traditionally, this weekend is Homecoming. I have been in touch with the principal of LHS and he told me that the district calendar of events, including Homecoming will be finalized by May. The high school has lighted stadium and has been having the Homecoming football games, under the lights on Friday. But there is a possibility that it may be on Saturday 10/11/25 during the day.
Principal Chris Cummings has offered to give our class members a tour of the building and recognize us at the game.
Saturday October 11, 2025
Again, Homecoming plans are TBD for the daytime. Evening plans, a casual meet and greet at a local bar/restaurant….no reservations needed, just come and pay as you go. Places are being researched in the local area. We had hoped to go to the Argone Rose, in Mohegan, the old Church on Rte. 6, but we have just learned that it is closing in March. Working on Plan B.

Green and Gold(en) Gala! 5:30pm-10:30pm (yes, 5 hours!)
We have booked a 5-hour event for the cost of 4 hours because we are having our event on a Sunday rather than Saturday. Fee includes an Enhanced Buffet, soft drinks, cheese tray and vegetables/dip buffet before dinner, tossed and other assorted salads, two pasta dishes, a chicken, fish and house specialty main course, potato and rice side dishes, prime rib station, assorted desserts, coffee and tea. Once again we have offered to host the Townsends as our guests, DJ, a special take away gift, photographer, decorations, and cash bar in the room for our convenience.
